about the writer

For most of my life, poetry was something I carried quietly.
I wrote because there were feelings I could not explain any other way. Love, grief, motherhood, heartbreak, healing, longing and memory. The things that live beneath ordinary conversations and often remain there, unnamed.
When I finally began sharing my work publicly through Instagram, I never expected people to find so much of themselves in it. Then the messages began arriving.

People told me a poem had put words around something they had been carrying for years. They shared my writing with partners, mothers, children and friends. Some asked whether they could frame a piece, gift it to someone they loved, wear the words or keep a copy somewhere close.
Those touching messages are the reason I created this store.

It was made for the people who connected with my poetry before there was anything here to buy. For the readers who gave my words a life beyond the page and made this quiet dream feel possible.
Everything in this space begins with my original writing. Here, you will find poetry prints, meaningful gifts, wearable words, signed pieces and limited releases created for the feelings we often know deeply but struggle to say aloud.

I also keep my email open for personal writing requests, including wedding vows, eulogies, anniversary gifts, wedding gifts, love letters, personalised poems, speeches and other meaningful written keepsakes.

All personal writing packages are negotiable and considered individually. Pricing depends on the amount of information needed, the length and detail of the piece, and the time, care, creativity and work involved in bringing it to life. I am always happy to discuss what you need and shape the service around the person, story or moment you want to honour.

I believe deeply in paying kindness forward. I am always willing to hear from people who would love a personal piece of writing but cannot afford one. I cannot promise that I will be able to take on every request, but I will always listen, consider the circumstances with care and see whether I can offer my writing freely.
Sometimes words are needed most during the moments when money should not be the thing standing in the way.

This is still the beginning of E.B. Firethorns, and those who have found a home in my poetry during these early days will always hold a special place in my heart.
Thank you for reading, sharing, trusting me with your stories and giving my words somewhere to live.

With love always,
